{2 Amazing Weightloss Apps}

If you are anythig like me there is no task that you don't have an application for on your phone. I have a list app and a shopping list app. I have games I play and ones my kids like to play. I even have apps to track my fitness and calories. Which are the 2 I'll be posting about today :).

I have tried plenty of weightloss apps. But I always come back to My Fitness Pal. And since its most recent update it has become even more user friendly! I add the foods I eat in my tracker and it keeps track of how many calories I'm consuming daily. I like this mainly because I can see where I'm going wrong in my diet and try to adjust it. It also lets me know when I'm snacking more during the day.

The 2nd app that my friend just shared with me is Runtastic. I use it mainly as a pedometer but you can also earn points and get awesome gift cards through it too! I was pretty jazzed about that :). If you pay for pro then you can also find out how many calories you've burned. I don't find that necessary though because when you sync with mfp it tells you how many calories you've burned during that session. Its a good app :)

So there you have it. If you're looking to get some use out of your phone while you're trying to lose those love handles :)

{Road Trippin' Part 10 or City Museum}

I was skeptical about City Museum when D said we should go there. I figured it'd be like any other museum and the kids would think it was boring as hell. But to my surprise, it wasn't! It was friggin' awesome! The fact that we had to go through a not so lovely part of the city to get it to it had me concerned but then we turned the corner and saw this...

The kids were all 3 automatically excited! On the inside it was even more impressive. There were tons of sculptures you could climb on and walk through. The kids had a blast.
My 2 boys waiting patiently.

Since it was ridiculously hot we decided to tackle the roof first so we wouldn't have to deal with the heat. Good idea right?

These next 2 pictures are of the school bus that was hanging over the side of the building. It was pretty cool and extremely frightening all at the same time.

This one is of the inside of a water tower I think. You could crawl down that hole and end up...I have no idea where cause my ass wasn't about to go there lol.

This was a large sphere thing that you could climb all the way to the top of. Obviously they didn't do that, it was too high for Little Boy and there were people taking forever at the top.

And the best part (for me anyway) was the ferris wheel! It's one of my favorite rides ever and I was excited to see the view from on top of a building :) It was Little Boys first ferris wheel ride too, which made it that much more exciting! He loved it by the way!

I took some video of other stuff on roof. I'm posting those on my facebook ;)

And here we have some of the inside. My cameras battery was running low and so I was conserving battery.

There was also some other videos of the inside, they're too long for blogger and facebook though. So I uploaded them to youtube ;)

There was also an awesome little aquarium in there too.

There were a lot of awesome animals! Including those Doctor Fish that eat the dead skin! That was pretty cool.

So there we have it :) If you're ever in St. Louis head on over, it's so cool! And your kids will love it!!

{Road Trippin Part 9 or Maremac Caverns}

On our way to St. Louis this past weekend we saw signs for some place called Meramac Caverns, I had never heard of it, but D had been there when he was a kid with his dad. So we decided that if Magic House didn't take long then we'd go ahead and head to the caverns. Let me just say, it was a trip worth the time and money! The kids loved it. We had lunch upon arrival and the food was pretty good. G and D were going to do the zip line but we decided it would take too much time and the rest of us would have to wait for them to get done doing it.

The caverns themselves were amazing (and freezing so if you're going, bring a jacket). I'll let the pictures speak for themselves :)

After the caverns we took a boat trip :) We saw turtles..lots of turtles. And I saw a snake in the water..at that point I was ready to get off the boat lol.

And there you have it. :) I highly recommend the tour and the boat ride. They were both fun and it was something unplanned that we just happened upon. Those are what make a vacation and adventure :).

{Road Trippin Part 8 or Magic House}

Magic House looks huge online and from the outside. But we got through it in 2hrs. Which was kind of disappointing but it didn't make it any less exciting and fun for the kids.

There was plenty of hands on stuff for them to do and even some stuff D and I enjoyed :). The best parts though were seeing the kids playing and having a good time. When they are happy, we are happy.

I won't bore you with a bunch of details cause I don't want to ruin it for you should you decide to head to St. Louis and see it for yourself. So here are the pictures I took (well, some of them).

And there you have it :) Magic House for this family.
