There has been rumors going around that the Backstreet Boys would be doing a Las Vegas residency (like Britney Spears, Celine Dion, and J.Lo) but the other day it was confirmed!
Las Vegas (Sept. 23, 2016) – Confirming rumors swirling for months, the best-selling boy band of all time, with over 130 million albums sold worldwide, is heading to the Las Vegas Strip. Even when the rumors started I knew this wasn't something I'd get to experience. We're planning this big trip to Disney World in December and to be honest if I had to choose between taking my kids to Disney and going to Vegas for a concert, I'd choose Disney.
Yesterday while shopping with my mom for Dawn's homecoming dress (I don't even want to tell you how stressful that was!), I mentioned it to her. Her and her husband have been to Vegas a couple times and I knew it'd be something she would be down for. And I was right! She said she would totally go with me!
When I told D this, he told me that if we had the money when the ticket sales were announced that he would happily buy them for me.
As luck would have it, pre-sale tickets went on sale today for fan club members. Which means, I got a BSB membership again lol.
We spent a pretty penny but I got my tickets! My mom and I will be going June 14th to Vegas to watch my boys perform at the Axis at Planet Hollywood!
I still have to figure out the hotel arrangements, but it shouldn't be awful with the fan club discount on rooms. The plane tickets I'm worried about though. I've never been on a plane before. I've never even wanted to be on one lol.
In fact, I'm not that fond of the idea of flying.
But I'm really excited to get to see my boys again :).
As far as buying tickets goes, I've got almost nine months before I need to worry about it. So maybe there will be a price drop or something. Who knows? I'll have to keep an eye on the prices, at least that's what my friends have told me lol.
So there's that news! I feel so damn spoiled! I really do have the most amazing husband in the whole world.
